On the mend...I hope!

Landon is feeling much better. Brycer is getting there. Mom came Sunday night to stay with Bryce yesterday just so he could have another day to rest and try to get well. He seems to be doing better and slept MUCH better last night. 5 hours at a time and only got up once, which is amazing! That hasn't happened in weeks. I feel like a new person this morning getting to sleep 5 hours at a time!

Landon went home with Mom to spend the night and the day today in Bonham. I think Dad was going to take him to the driving range. Dad's personal mission is to turn our child in to the next Tiger Woods. As long as Landon agrees to support his Mom and Dad when he makes it big on the PGA tour, I'm fine with that. :)

Brycer is asleep on the couch so I better make good use of my time and try to get caught up on work. I'm DYING! I really got used to not being in the office while I was out on leave...and am still trying to get back in the swing of things! One day at a time is my new favorite motto!

Sickly Boys

I hate taking the kiddos to the dr. but sometimes it is just necessary! Poor Brycer can hardly breathe and gets choked up every time he coughs. Landon has it too, just not as bad. Dr. said Landon's is probably allergy related...lovely. Nothing they can give Bryce b/c he'd too little. Should be an interesting weekend. We're currently best friends with Little Noses saline drops, our cool mist humidifiers (we are the proud owners of two) and Vicks. I tell Landon his Vicks is his "good smell'ns"...he says he smells like peppermint and HATES it. At least Mommy and Daddy are staying clear especially when Landon's reading books in our lap at night and we get to inhale all the fumes from Landon :) Who knew Vicks could make a well person's nose run so bad!

Answer to Prayer!

OK, so Mom and I prayed ALL day last Thursday about Bryce and his woes at the sitter. Even Landon prayed at every meal that Bryce wouldn't cry at Nana and Popah's house. Well, we are living proof that God answers even the smallest prayer (although it didn't feel small to me!). Bryce had a WONDERFUL day on Friday and did really well yesterday too! Thank goodness!

I had the stomach bug over the weekend and took it easy yesterday while the boys were away. I also got a MUCH needed haircut and highlight...since it had been over three months! The roots were horrible and today I feel like a new woman! It's amazing what a haircut will do for ya!

Hi.. Ho.. Hi.. Ho.. It's Off to Work I Go...

Back to work today in fact. I can't believe that 12 weeks is already gone... How sad. Bryce went to the sitter for the first time yesterday and cried....a lot! Hopefully it was just the first day jitters. I spent the day yesterday just catching up on a few things around the house and getting things tidy for today. Oh and enjoying the peace and quiet. It was the first time for me to be home alone in the last 3 months! Tomorrow is my first day back in the office. As luck would have it, Jeff had travel to Orlando this morning for the rest of the week so I'm tasked with at least taking Bryce to the sitter. Mom is coming to stay with me for the week to help out and keep my sanity.

Merry Christmas! (...a little late)

Well folks...I'm really living up to my "worst blogger ever" title. So, here are some very late Christmas picts. For some reason they are out of order...much like my life :) My New Year's resolution will be to be a better blogger. It will probably help that I will be going back to work on 1/15 and will be sitting at my computer all day...thus lots of time to blog! I have TOTALLY checked out of work and have been avoiding my computer like the plague!

We are making progress. This is the first time Landon's gotten near Santa without throwing a complete fit. Let the record stand that Landon did not sit on Santa's lap. He stood next to him. Landon makes sure he tells everyone this. Apparently Santa is squeazing the stuffing out of Bryce and doesn't want to drop him.

The family nativity...thanks to Jeff's Mom. It was quite a production with programs and all. The cast was as follows: Baby Jesus - Bryce; Joseph - Landon; Mary - Cousin Sydney; Angel - Cousin Caroline; Wise Man - Cousin Daniel.

Here we are, team Wood in full. Will we ever get a family picture where all of us are looking at the camera? This is the best one out of five...oh well. Hopefully I will lose a chin or two when I take off the last few pounds of baby weight! Good grief...dieting during the holidays is for the dogs!

Well I am officially a lame-o blogger! I think life is finally settling down for us here at the Wood house, so hopefully I'll be able to write more often. Bryce is 7 weeks old...my how time flies! AND I only have 5 weeks left before I have to go back to work (can you hear the panic in my voice ??? ). I can't believe how fast it's gone by. We've had fun lately putting up Christmas and getting ready for the holiday. Several weeks ago J and I took the boys to get Christmas pictures taken and Bryce slept the entire time. Nothing, and I mean nothing would wake him up. Oh well...so all of our pictures have Bryce with his eyes closed. Monday I took him for his 6 week pictures and fortunately he decided to wake up this time. We got some really cute shots. I'll see if I can scan and post them when we get them. Here are a few picts of the boys. Bryce is HUGE! We went to the dr. last week and he's already weighing 13lbs. Amazing! He's as tall as he is thick. Landon better watch out. No picking on this little bro.
